Rio Rancho families deserve to feel safe. I'll fight for funding that puts the right resources in the right places — from officer recruitment to mental health co-responders who get people in crisis the help they actually need.

Every kid in Rio Rancho deserves a school that sets them up to succeed. I'll work to close reading and math gaps early, expand pre-K, pay teachers what they're worth, and grow career programs like RioTECH.
REAL AFFORDABILITY FOR FAMILIES
Working families are being squeezed from every direction — housing, childcare, utilities, wages. I'll push for the policy changes that actually lower the cost of living, not just the programs that paper over it.
SMART GROWTH, RELIABLE INFRASTRUCTURE, AND WATER WE CAN COUNT ON
New Mexico is growing, and we need water and roads that can keep up. I'll fight to fully fund our long-term water plan and make sure transportation dollars reach the neighborhoods that have waited the longest.

Every family deserves to feel safe in their neighborhood, whether they're walking their children to school, enjoying a local park, or running a small business. Public safety begins with supporting the dedicated police officers, sheriff's deputies, firefighters, and first responders who put themselves in harm's way every day.
Elise supports giving law enforcement the tools, training, and staffing they need to respond quickly and effectively while strengthening partnerships between officers and the communities they serve. She also believes reducing crime requires addressing mental health, addiction, and youth intervention programs that prevent crime before it starts.

Every child deserves access to a quality education regardless of their ZIP code, and every kid in Rio Rancho deserves a school that sets them up to succeed. Elise believes strong public schools, excellent teachers, and expanded career and technical education create opportunities that last a lifetime.
She will work to close reading and math gaps early, expand access to high-quality pre-K, and ensure teachers are paid what they're worth so New Mexico can recruit and retain the best educators. Elise also supports expanding career pathways through programs like RioTECH, apprenticeships, and workforce training so students graduate prepared for college, skilled trades, military service, or meaningful careers here in New Mexico.

Families across New Mexico are feeling the pressure of rising costs - from groceries and housing to childcare and healthcare. Too many hardworking people are doing everything right and still struggling to get ahead.
Elise will work to expand affordable housing, protect working families from rising costs, support good-paying jobs, and make everyday necessities more affordable so families can keep more of what they earn.
PROTECTING OUR ENVIRONMENT & INVESTING IN INFRASTRUCTURE
New Mexico's future depends on protecting our natural resources while making smart investments in the infrastructure our communities rely on every day. Elise believes we can conserve our environment, strengthen our economy, and prepare for continued growth at the same time.
As New Mexico grows, our water supplies and transportation systems must keep pace. Elise will fight to fully fund the state's long-term water plan, invest in conservation and modern water infrastructure, and ensure communities have the resources they need to protect this vital resource for future generations.
She also believes transportation dollars should reach the neighborhoods that have waited the longest for safer roads, better connectivity, and critical infrastructure improvements. Elise supports responsible growth that protects clean air and water, strengthens wildfire prevention, and invests in resilient infrastructure so New Mexico remains a great place to live, work, and raise a family.
AFFORDABLE HEALTHCARE
No family should have to choose between paying their bills and seeing a doctor. Elise supports protecting access to affordable healthcare, expanding access to mental health services, strengthening rural healthcare providers, and ensuring families can receive quality care close to home.
